Please read and understand the following VERY closely as we have a VERY strict returns policy, and there will be absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS.

While we offer the finest quality outboard boat motor ignition components money can buy, as with any electrical or electronic parts purchased from a retail store, we are no different in our returns policy. There are only two instances where a part purchased from this website may be returned. Read below:

First of all, you MUST have pre authorization and issued an RMA number from Outboardignition.com to return anything for any reason.
Returns must be accompanied with a sales receipt of purchase. (Printed version from web order)

Only accepted reasons for return:

1. Part ordered is not correct for your application: Understanding that many items we offer may not look exactly the same as your current component, you may otherwise return the item/s ordered for exchange only. NO REFUNDS will be given under any circumstances. Part/s returned must not have been installed, and in exact resellable condition as received (boxed in a box). A 20% restock fee will be applied. Shipping will not be refunded under any circumstances. Make sure you want what you order. We do not allow reasons of "didn't need it" as being acceptable, nor do we allow for "I went ahead and bought one elsewhere so I want a refund" as being at all acceptable for return.

2. Warranty: The parts we offer on this website are intended to be installed by an experienced marine mechanic. By installing the items you order yourself, you are taking the sole responsibility to make sure all components are installed correctly as to not cause damage to new or existing parts on your motor. Any item you order suspected to have problems during it's warranted time frame may be returned freight prepaid for testing. If it is determined that there is nothing wrong with the part, you will be charged $35 for testing labor on each item, plus shipping for returning the part to you. All eligable warranty items will be shipped back to you at no charge.

Extended warranty: Purchased extended warranties are governed by the same limitations following below, except that the purchased warranty extends these conditions for an additional 3 year period producing a total 5 year warranty.

All ignition components listed on this website carry a standard 2 year limited warranty with the following exclusions:

This warranty does not apply to products damaged by accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation, alteration/modification (cut/spliced wires), or exposure to the elements (corrosion from excessive wet or salty conditions).
Should the product prove defective in workmanship or material, the remedies shall be repair or replacement at the sole discretion of Outboardignition.com
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, all implied warranties made by Outboardignition.com in connection with these products are finite in duration to a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, and no warranties whether expressed or implied shall apply to these products after said period. Some states may offer additional rights to the consumer so the above limitation or exclusion may or may not apply to you.
