By submitting an order, clicking "Submit Order," or indicating agreement during checkout, you are providing electronic authorization for the transaction and acceptance of these terms, including associated IP address and timestamp records.
Product Information & Site Content
OBI provides this website as a resource for marine ignition parts, repair information, and application guidance. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, OBI is not responsible for typographical errors, omissions, outdated information, or manufacturer changes outside our control.
Product descriptions may include application references, OEM cross-references, and general compatibility data. It is the customer's responsibility to verify proper fitment prior to purchase. If you are uncertain about compatibility, contact us before ordering.
OBI does not provide parts for diagnostic "trial and error" use. Incorrect diagnosis is the responsibility of the purchaser.
OBI reserves the right to substitute a part with a functionally equivalent or superior component when necessary due to availability, discontinued inventory, or manufacturer supersession.
Return & Exchange Policy
- Electrical / Ignition Components: All electrical and ignition components are final sale and non-returnable due to the sensitive nature of these parts.
- No Diagnostic Trial Use: OBI does not provide electrical or ignition parts for diagnostic trial-and-error installation. Do not purchase these items for that purpose.
- RMA Requirement: No return or exchange will be accepted without prior authorization and a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Timeline: Requests for eligible exchanges must be made within 15 days of delivery.
- Restocking Fee: Approved returns or exchanges will be subject to a 20% restocking fee unless the error was caused by OBI.
- Condition: Items must be unused, undamaged, and in original resalable packaging. Sealed items, including carburetor kits, fuel pump kits, seal kits, and similar packaged items, are not eligible once opened.
- Shipping Responsibility: The customer is responsible for all return shipping and insurance costs on approved returns or exchanges. Shipping charges for special orders are non-refundable.
Due to receiving limitations, OBI does not accept returns via USPS. USPS shipments may be refused and returned to sender. All approved returns must be shipped via UPS to:

Order Cancellations
Orders canceled prior to shipment are subject to a $10.00 processing fee. Once an order has shipped or left our facility, it cannot be canceled.
Installation & Use Disclaimer
All parts sold by OBI are intended for proper installation by qualified individuals. OBI is not responsible for damage, failure, injury, labor costs, diagnostic costs, or additional repair expenses resulting from improper installation, incorrect application, misuse, altered wiring, poor grounds, defective related components, or incorrect diagnosis.
Warranty Handling
Warranty coverage, if applicable, is subject to the terms provided by the product manufacturer or supplier. Warranty claims may require inspection, testing, proof of purchase, and confirmation that the part was installed and used correctly.
Warranty does not cover incorrect diagnosis, improper installation, damaged wiring, defective related components, abuse, water intrusion, overheating, altered parts, or damage caused by other failures in the ignition or charging system.
Limitation Of Liability
OBI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of time, towing costs, labor charges, additional repair costs, lost income, or inconvenience. Liability, if any, shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.
Chargeback & Fraud Policy
All transactions are recorded with identifying information including IP address, timestamp, order details, and customer-provided checkout information. Customers agree to contact OBI directly to resolve any order issue before initiating a chargeback.
Improper, abusive, or unsupported chargebacks may be disputed with full supporting documentation, including order records, delivery confirmation, communication history, and agreement to these terms.
Customer Responsibility
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed product information, verified fitment to the best of their ability, and understand the return restrictions for electrical and ignition components.
If there is uncertainty about the correct part, application, or diagnosis, the customer should contact OBI before purchasing.
If you are unsure whether a part is correct for your motor, contact us before purchasing. Electrical and ignition components are sensitive parts and are not intended for diagnostic trial-and-error use.
