This replacement stator is designed to support stable ignition output by converting flywheel rotation into controlled electrical energy for the ignition circuit. This style of stator is also associated with a 9-amp charging configuration, so clean electrical output and connector integrity are especially important. The design priorities are especially important on Force applications where ignition stability depends on clean stator output.
Because stator failure can mimic other ignition problems, testing the trigger, coils, switch box or power pack, and related grounds is recommended.
